The Clark Twins Band is a dynamic and soulful musical act rooted in Columbus, Ohio. Fronted by the twin sisters Laura Clark and Lisa Allen, the band offers an eclectic mix of contemporary, country, and rock music that leaves audiences humming their tunes long after the show ends. Known for their flawless harmonies and powerful stage presence, the twins have assembled a talented group of musicians who bring their own flair and passion to every performance.
Over the years, we've been blessed with a multitude of talented band members and configurations that have each left their unique imprint on our music. We honor and thank all the incredible musicians who've been part of our journey, shaping us into who we are today. Their contributions and spirits continue to inspire us.
With Laura on acoustic guitar and vocals and Lisa contributing vocals and percussion, the band's current lineup is rounded out by an all-star team: Aaron "The Axeman" Sartain on bass, Peter "Funky Pete" Scharf on guitar, and Brandon "The Pulse" Loynes on drums. Together, we create a soul-delighting experience, blending powerful instrumentation with infectious energy, making us a rising force in the Columbus music scene.
We carry forward the legacy of our past members, especially in remembering our first bass player, Michael Dunne, whose passion and open-hearted spirit live on in every note we play.
Band Members:
Laura Clark — Vocals & Acoustic Guitar
Laura's journey into music began later in life, following a successful athletic career as a collegiate gymnast and earning a degree in psychology. Her passion for music took over, leading her to pick up the guitar and pursue her dream. After a break to focus on family, she returned to her passion with renewed vigor, forming The Clark Twins Band alongside her sister. Laura's musical talents, coupled with her strong vocals, make her the anchor of the band’s sound.
Lisa Allen — Vocals & Percussion
Lisa has been harmonizing with her twin sister Laura for as long as she can remember. A gifted vocalist, she brings energy and rhythm to the band's performances. Lisa's background includes years of singing on her church worship team and in high school choir. Her dance moves and engaging stage presence bring an extra layer of fun to every performance. Together with Laura, Lisa creates the seamless harmonies that define The Clark Twins Band.
Aaron Sartain — Bass & Vocals
Known as "The Axeman," Aaron Sartain was added to the lineup early 2024, bringing his unique style and passion to the bass. Having served in the military, Aaron eventually traded one weapon for another—the bass guitar. With years of vocal experience and an authentic approach to music, he finds meaning in organizing sounds and connecting with people. His soulful grooves lay the foundation for the band’s eclectic sound.
Peter Scharf— Guitar
Peter is the new guitarist for The Clark Twins Band. With a rich background in various genres, his guitar skills add a fresh dynamic to the band’s performances. From soulful solos to driving rhythms, Peter's versatility enhances the band's diverse setlist and helps elevate their live shows.
Brandon Loynes — Drums & Vocals
Joining the band in 2023, Brandon is a talented drummer and percussionist who has been playing music for years. Inspired by John Bonham of Led Zeppelin, Brandon brings an eclectic range of influences from jazz to reggae and rock. He’s not only a musician but also an educator, artist, and enthusiast of many sports. His solid beats and creative drumming style add a crucial layer to The Clark Twins Band’s sound.
